Tech-Enhanced After-School Programs
Our Tech-Enhanced After-School Programs offer an engaging environment for students in Coverdale to explore the world of technology. This program includes hands-on activities in coding, robotics, and digital literacy, designed for students of all ages. Participants collaborate on projects, enhance their problem-solving skills, and build a strong foundation in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). By fostering creativity and technical proficiency, we aim to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary for future academic and career success in the tech industry
Financial Literacy Workshops
Our Financial Literacy Workshops educate both students and their families in Coverdale on essential financial principles. Through interactive sessions and practical activities, participants learn about budgeting, saving, credit management, and financial planning. These workshops empower individuals with the tools needed to make informed financial decisions and achieve long-term economic stability. Career Pathways in Tech
The Career Pathways in Tech program connects young people in Coverdale with opportunities in the tech sector. Annual Events
Join us for our vibrant annual events at WGM Outreach Ministries! In February, we honor Black History Month with the Love & Legacy Celebration, a dynamic event celebrating culture, history, and heritage. In August, our Back 2 School Festival equips students with essential supplies for a successful academic year. October brings the Harvest Festival, a joyful time for community gatherings and festive spirit. In November, we express our gratitude and support through Thankful Hearts Helping Hands, assisting those in need. Finally, in December, we spread holiday cheer with Operation Christmas List, ensuring every child experiences the joy of the season.
